First of all, there is a place and a time for everything. There is a place where low-intensity exercise. For example, if you are recovering from injury or you feel fragile that you might injure yourself, then you should consider low-intensity exercise, especially if you are used to high-intensity or moderate-intensity exercise.
As you gradually build up your strength and capacity, you can increase the intensity gradually without causing undue damage to yourself. How you progress, should something that you decided, based on how you feel and the progress of your low-intensity exercise.
