Eating late at night
There really nothing good about eating at night, unless you work through the night. Most experts would advise against such habits.
Some people just like eating late at night out of habit and indiscipline. In general, eating should happen early in the evening, nothing after about 8:00 pm. Eating at 8:00 pm assumes that you will be going to being around 10:30/11:00.
If you really must snack because you are hungry, a simple fruit like an apple, grapes or pear is a good idea.
